Free Falling.

Given wings to fly like a bird, but trapped in a cage filled with false luxury. Not a sense of belonging, but a heart of uncertainty. The free spirits will never rest, till death brings them to their knees. Touching ground, is, but a temporary and fleeting feeling. No, rather, it’s a figment of their imagination.

They leave their traces all around, but have always remained a mystery; and to try to unravel such, would be falling into the abyss – no returns, no gains. Because these free spirits have, they themselves, fallen into the darkness. When there’s no end to falling in the bottomless pit, the free fall acts as a facade of flight.

Sadly, free spirits never belong, they never will, they never have; with the abyss as their entrapment. Nothingness is the name of the game. An outer shell of pride to boast of flight, yet, deep down, they yearn. They yearn to touch ground, they yearn to escape; closure – a desire. Although trapped in such a predicament, it would be prudent not to offer an audience to these free spirits. As mentioned, they can tempt unknowing victims into their fall, disguised as something more desirable – flight.

A danger, who can set them free?

And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you.” -Friedrich Nietzsche
